Fahmi Al-Shawa has over 9 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance and private equity in the Middle East region. Prior to co-founding Elaph Investments, he was an executive at Dubai International Capital; a Dubai based international investment company that primarily focuses on private equity, and prior to that Fahmi was with Injazat Technology Fund. During his tenure at Dubai International Capital and Injazat, Fahmi worked on structuring a number of regional transactions with an aggregate equity value in excess of US$550 million.
Prior to 2003 Fahmi was part of Andersen's Corporate Finance Advisory team covering the Middle East region where he conducted M&A and financial advisory work. Fahmi is currently a Board member of Addax Education Holding, as well as a member of the Investment Committee of Sidra Investments. Fahmi also holds Board seats at Jordan Investment Trust, a publicly listed
investment bank domiciled in Amman.
